Another short week... But, a busy one at that...

Week 2, Term 1, 2018...

It has been new learning of the children, myself and whanau for expectations in how we work in our Whakapono Room 22 class.

We have found a beautiful, quiet place in our school (that reminds Whaea of home) that we know to go to when it is to hot, we sit, we listen and enjoy this special place (we can use when with a teacher).

We also got to spend some time with our buddy class Aroha room 7 on Friday. It was a warm day so we spent it indoors, learning about our buddy and things they enjoy doing in and out of school - thanks for having us Miss Heng and Whaea Sonya.

Listening to his buddy talk about his design
Learning to share with our buddy
Roslyn being a good role model for her buddies

This week your child has had numerous notices for swimming at Manurewa pools, visiting Clendon public library and my class newsletter. If you have received them and sent them back THANK YOU, if you haven't could you please do so as soon as possible.
We begin our swimming at Manurewa Pools tomorrow, we leave at 9.30 and are back at 10.30am. Children must have togs/ towel, listening ears and be ready to GO SWIMMING (photo's to follow).
