Alofa Atu Nei - Alofa Mai Taeaoa

I am so proud to be in a school that embrasses our children's culture the way we should... Be proud of who we are, where we come from and what we have to share with the our class mates - Taniara sharing a reading from the bible.

Below our Samoan group with our school singing our Samoan National Anthem...

Our room 2 and room 18 students showing off their dancing skills... AMAZING

Our boys showing their muscles and their dance skills...
Our girls showing their graceful dance skills
A group performance from our seniors...
Our Rowandale staff being proud of our Samoan Language Week #wegotthis
More dancing from our senior girls...

I had 8 students from our room who showed off their dance, oratory and singing skills this week... I am so supportive of our language weeks... It is important to learn about who we are? Where we come from...
Our Matariki New Year begins tomorrow whanau, so expect some homework around this also.
