X Country 2018

This year we held our school x country, thanks to Mrs Alapaki and her PE team.

The weather wasn't on our side, but we managed to get through all age groups without any major injuries...

Our year 0-3 students braved the weather, and ran a great run. We then headed to the hall to do their presentations. After morning tea we had our year 4-6 and that is where it got interesting... Our weather started to kick in, we had wind, rain then HAIL... And you know what? Our children ran, their personal best and despite the elements they achieved well and truely above our expectations.
I have huge respect to everyone who gave it a go, ran harty and braved our elements.

Our Year 5 boy winners were: 5th Andrew, 4th Daksheesh, 3rd Samuel, 2nd Wallen and 1st Everton.
Our Year 5 girl winners were: 5th Roslyn, 4th J-lyn, 3rd Majete, 2nd Angela and 1st Maddison.

I have a few photos from both the juniors and seniors...
